Project Manager (2 consultants)

CareersThe Project Manager/consultant has responsibility for coordinating the full development cycle of one of several NPOKI Proof of Concept projects and Systems Integration projects. These software and web development projects all share a similar time frame (9 months to one year), similar scope of work (limited to essential features to ensure attainability) and similar resources (limited number of developers and staff/member participants). The consultant is responsible for managing assigned staff, other consultants, and member participants related to this function. The consultant works closely with the Manager of Programs and the System Architect to make certain that the projects run smoothly, and are finished on time and on budget. In addition, the project manager will work with the participating member organizations to make certain communication is timely and accurate, and that their project needs are met.

Program Associate (Internship)

The Program Associate is an internship position for someone with a strong background in public health and information and communications technologies. S/He will work directly with our Executive Director, our Directors of Programs and Organization Development, our Project Managers, and our member organizations. The Program Associate will act as an intermediary to ensure that communication around content and project information is consistent across all teams. S/He will work with our Project Managers on several NPOKI Proof of Concept projects to make certain that the NPOKI members and the Executive staff are updated on all aspects of the ongoing work. Duties will range from writing copy for newsletters, organizing and running meetings, coordinating with partners like WHO and InsideNGO, to working with content experts in HIV/AIDS, Monitoring & Evaluation, Financial and Operations Management, and Clinic & Service Delivery. In addition, the program associate will work on the NPOKI public web site and members-only site to make certain that information is timely and accurate.
