William (Will) Rollo - Solution Design Consultant

Will is an independent consultant (William J Rollo Consulting LLC) and has worked extensively with global and domestic organizations to evaluate operational capacity, implement system change, and increase operational capacity. He specializes in operations system evaluation (Requirements documentation, RFP, and vendor selection), ERP system implementation, and related integrations with HRIS, payroll, and fundraising (CRM) systems.

 

Hands-on experience includes lengthy engagements at Helen Keller International as Director of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), at Planned Parenthood Federation of America as Director of Financial Systems, and EngenderHealth as Financial Systems Project Manager. Will has also consulted with organizations such as eHealth Africa, Educational Development Center, Project Concern International, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, Himalayan Cataract Project and Access Now.

 

He has a BA in Accounting with an emphasis in Information Systems, an MBA and holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through PMI and a PMD Pro certification.

Maureen MacCarthy – Organizational Development Consultant/Training Specialist

Maureen is an internationally recognized trainer, facilitator, and curriculum designer in the Humanitarian and Development Sector. Maureen has 25 years of experience and expertise in technical content areas (Project Management, Financial Management) and Human Resources (Supervisory/Management Skills). She has a life-long passion for improving systems and developing people.

 

Maureen is a PMD Pro 1 and 2 (Project DPro)– Certified Project Manager. She was the lead designer of InsideNGO’s successful PMD project management training and certification workshop, having personally trained and certified over 5000 global professionals.

 

Maureen has trained and worked professionally in 14 countries. Her professional interests are learning, creativity, collaboration, and communication, supporting organizational success. Her experience includes: Director of Project, Portfolio, and Knowledge Management at PATH, Consultant, Coach, Trainer, and Facilitator with organizations such as PATH, JHPIEGO, Partners in Health, International Red Cross, Ipas, IREX, and The Carter Center.

Dereje Tadesse Woldemariam -  CISA – Health Information Systems Specialist

Dereje is a seasoned and strategic IT professional with more than 20 years’ experience in systems implementation and support. He has significant expertise in Health Management Information Systems at the conceptual and execution levels. He has managed many complex projects focusing on IT in general and Health Management Information Systems in particular. Dereje is practical, client-focused, articulate, and creative, with a proven ability to solve complex problems.

 

He worked for ten years at International Planned Parenthood Nairobi, focusing on projects with DHIS2, Knowledge Management, and Clinic Management systems. In 2012, he was promoted to Chief Information Officer in IPPF’s headquarters in London, where he spearheaded the development, promotion, and implementation of IPPF’s global Health Management Information Systems, including Clinic Management Information Systems. With a master’s degree in Computer Sciences with a major in Software Engineering from the Université Claude Bernard Lyon I (UCBLI), Lyon, France, Dereje currently lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he supports EyeCare Clinic PLC, a franchise of Sun Optics.
